The Experience
Rooted in connection and care, this experience is designed to help you feel at ease while I thoughtfully handle the rest.
It’s All About You.
I wouldn’t be in business if your story didn’t matter—and to me, it truly does. From your first inquiry to the final delivery of your gallery, this is more than a process; it’s a relationship built on trust, care, and shared intention. We walk through it together—collaborating, connecting, and creating something that feels both personal and lasting.
This is not just photography. It’s your story, thoughtfully told.
Your Experience.
Working with me is about more than just beautiful photos—it’s about feeling seen, supported, and celebrated every step of the way. Whether you’re planning your wedding or booking a milestone session, I approach each experience with care, connection, and a commitment to making your moments feel effortless and unforgettable.
Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
1. The Inquiry
Once you submit an inquiry through my website, you can expect to hear from me within 3–5 business days—though let’s be honest, it’s usually sooner. I get genuinely excited when I see a new inquiry in my inbox! Unless I’m photographing a wedding, in a session, or soaking up family time (with my phone on Do Not Disturb), I respond quickly.
After reviewing your form, I’ll reach out with any follow-up questions, share more information about the package you’re interested in, and suggest a consultation call so we can talk more about your vision and how I can help bring it to life.
2. Booking Your Date
After we connect and I understand your vision, I’ll help guide you toward the package that fits your needs best—always with your budget and expectations in mind. I never suggest packages that stretch beyond your means, and sometimes we create a custom one that checks all your boxes.
Once your package is selected, I’ll send over a proposal with options and add-ons for you to review.
For weddings and events: I’ll send a sample contract and we’ll schedule a booking call to go over every detail together before you sign. This is a big investment and a big day—I want you to feel confident, clear, and cared for.
For sessions: You’ll receive your contract and booking link directly to get things officially on the calendar.
To reserve your date, a non-refundable retainer is required. I treat each booking with my full attention and care. For weddings, I block off your entire weekend and the following week to give my full energy to your day and your sneak peeks—no double bookings, no distractions.
3. Before the Session or Wedding Day
Once you’re officially booked, the preparation begins!
For weddings, you’ll receive a detailed email with your next steps, a timeline checklist, and a guide full of helpful tips for a smooth photography experience—from curating unplugged ceremonies to carving out time just for you two to breathe and soak in the day.
For sessions, I’ll send a style guide to help you feel confident and coordinate your look with ease.
I also encourage all my clients to share a Pinterest board or mood board so I can see your full vision and make sure we bring it to life beautifully and authentically.
You’ll receive a confirmation email at booking and 1–2 reminders leading up to your date to help you feel fully prepared and at ease.
4. The Day Of
I always arrive 30 minutes early—every time.
On the day of your session or event, I become whatever you need: part fly-on-the-wall, part hype woman, part honorary family member. I blend into the background when it’s best to let the moment breathe, and I step in with gentle guidance when needed to help you feel natural and confident.
You’ll see me helping corral guests for that perfect group shot, reminding friends of unplugged ceremony requests, or using a secret signal to pull you away when you need a moment to breathe. My goal is to protect your peace and create space for presence.
I work in tandem with your coordinator to follow the timeline while also staying flexible—because real life is beautifully unscripted, and I’m always ready for those unexpected, once-in-a-lifetime moments.
I use natural light as often as possible but always come prepared with backup: a second camera body, multiple lenses, soft lighting, LED video lights, and a speedlight to ensure every moment is captured in the best light—no matter what.
5. Gallery Delivery
Sneak peeks are my love language—you’ll receive a curated preview of your day or session shortly after, so you don’t have to wait to relive the magic.
Your full gallery will be delivered via a private online gallery, with both web-size and high-resolution downloads included. You’ll also have the option to order prints and albums directly from the gallery for easy, high-quality keepsakes.
I don’t deliver raw images, but I do offer optional black-and-white edits and custom album creation. I’m also happy to make reasonable retouching adjustments if requested—my editing philosophy is all about staying true to the moment and memory.
I will always edit anything likely to fade within a couple of weeks—like blemishes, bruises, or tan lines—but I never alter your natural appearance. My goal is to highlight the most flattering, genuine version of you while keeping the image honest and timeless.
6. After the Gallery
After you’ve received your gallery, I’ll check in to make sure you’re not just happy—you’re beyond happy. If there’s anything you’d like touched up or refined, I’m always open to feedback and want you to walk away feeling completely in love with your images.
I always appreciate reviews from my clients—it’s one of the best ways to support my business and help me continue doing what I love.
7. Beyond the Booking
One of my greatest joys is continuing the relationship long after the session or wedding day ends. So many of my clients have become friends—sharing pregnancy announcements, family sessions, or simply texting me big life news. I haven’t had a single couple not reach out again after their wedding day, and I truly cherish that trust and connection.
I’ll be following you back on social media, cheering you on, and celebrating all the beautiful chapters still to come.
